Citizen journalism is referred to as "particularly journalism" and can also be defined as daily reporting or news. It is often seen in media organizations such as magazines, social media platforms, television, and radio. With the help of these platforms, people can easily gather information, especially now that social media is prevalent, which can be a source of news, for example, Twitter and Facebook, hence it is known as citizen media. Citizen journalism is also the right of every citizen to be informed and aware of what is happening around them.

On the other hand, community journalism focuses on a specific subject, often seeking to document the lives of a community in their area. Therefore, it can be very helpful because through this, other people or officials can learn about such events in the area being documented in documentaries.

In conclusion, citizen journalism is fueled by regular people using digital platforms to contribute to news reporting, frequently emphasizing diverse perspectives and personal experiences. Local Relevance: By reflecting on our cultural heritage, community journalism can help address local relevance. This is especially important in the current generation, as not everyone is interested in the past. Recognizing our heroes and their backgrounds or ways of becoming heroes is part of this. It also encompasses the customs and traditions that our forefathers left behind. It is also possible to visit museums and comprehend the historical significance of the items on display there. Documentaries on these subjects can enlighten the uninformed further. since even Filipinos are beginning to lose sight of our cultural history.

Community journalism possesses the capacity to not only provide information, but also motivate and enable communities to actively participate in safeguarding their distinct legacy for future generations.
