- To differentiate the two, the journalism that we know is called community journalism. Wherein a reporter or a journalist is looking for great stories to tell. GMA, ABS CBN, TV5 and CNN are some of the news companies that provide accurate and follow the right procedure when gathering information. To be a community journalist, a person should be familiar and have the knowledge on how to gather news. While the other one or the citizen journalism, pave the way for every citizen to contribute and provide information using their mobile devices by uploading it on the mainstream media. Wherein the people are free to interpret the news on their own. In other words, the main purpose of these two is to help to disseminate and provide information for the people.

It's been 7 years since the KADAMAY Group occupied some of the housing sites of Pandi. Years have passed and lots of changes have happened including the rapid growth of the population of people residing in Pandi, because of the high population these relocatees having hard time looking for a job, the one that they know. Some of the relocatees come from different areas in Luzon wherein their nature of work is by water, and knowing that the nature of the work of Pandi is by land or mostly agriculture, poultry, and sewing. In that case, some of the residents were either unemployed or working outside Bulacan back and forth. Community journalism could be a big help to raise awareness, a platform for discussion and eye opener for the municipal office to provide the needs of their residents like job opportunities.
