SWEATER-CROCHET; INSPIRED BY THE ANIME “NANA” 


LOOK: A sweater crochet with a design inspired by the anime “Nana” characters is thoroughly knitted by a student Mikaela Mae B. Esparto  


The sweater gained 672 reactions, 33 comments, and 473 shares, reaching Bayan Mo, Ipatrol Mo. The sweater’s details are so complex, and she’s decided to sell it for 8,000 pesos in the future. 

“I’m planning to sell them for 8k in the future.” She said. 


With a complex design comes a complex challenge in making it. 

“The tapestries, though single crochet lang all through the project, need accurate sa pattern and took me a week to complete 1 tapestry.” She said.

According to her, she’s crocheting for fun and business, and fun favors her the most because aside from the money she’s getting, she also enjoys crocheting without the pressure of deadlines.


She also added that she’s planning on making other anime-inspired designs or Beyonce album visuals, sleeveless tops, and tote bags.

“Tsunade and Jiraiya from Naruto or Beyonce album visuals. Yeah, sleeveless tops and tote bags.” She said.

It was sultry that day. Sweat and grime clung stubbornly to the skin. There was the din of traffic and jackhammers. The pungent scent of dust kicked up from the old roads they were drilling, and the smoke from the noxious exhaust of old cars penetrated deep into the lungs.
