The short film "Bagabag" by Mr. Dei Dominguez surprised him by receiving 13,000 views on Facebook on February 9, 2024.
Mr. Dominguez has been making short films since Grade 8. He became a director of their school project when he was in Grade 11, and he has been doing it for about 3 or 4 years now.
Just this February, they had a production called "Boka Bulakenyo Production," which focuses on Bulacan words explaining their meanings. One of their videos, "Bagabag," garnered 13,000 views and 255 reactions on Facebook. Mr. Dominguez said he was happy with their production because the process of making the short film was not that easy. In fact, he ended up being the Director, Camera Operator, and Clapper because their other team members were not available that day.
Despite still being a student, he plans to continue writing stories to become more skilled for the future he envisions, which involves creating Filipino films. He also added that he is currently in pre-production for Sine Kabataan.
